Flag began as a project in university cities across Ireland. Flag offers you a new taxi app which brings a quick and easy hailing app that allows tracking of your drivers arrival and journey in real time.
When registering we ask you to add an ID like photo to your profile and create 4 digit pin to secure your account when using the Confirm ID/ PIN PAY feature

EXCLUSIVE CONFIRM ID / PIN PAY  FEATURE - No Phone, No Wallet? ‘Flag’ down a taxi and still pay the driver

• The PIN PAY feature allows you to get into any Flag taxi even if you dont have your phone or wallet on you and confirm your ID with the driver to pay. Just give your driver your name and surname and tell the driver your PIN that you previously created upon registration, or type it into his phone.

This allows the driver to verify your ID as your photo will appear on his phone to confirm it is your account(make sure the photo is similar to an ID like photo). The bank card you registered with in the app will be billed and your trip details will show up in your Flag app, just as a normal trip would.

HOW IT WORKS: when you use the app normally
 
1. Open the Flag app, it locates you automatically. If you want, you can add a destination but this is optional.
2. Select the ride type (Taxi or Executive) and tap "confirm order"
3. Verify that all details are ok and order your cab.
4. Watch the driver on the map; get the arrival ETA, chat with him if necessary and know exactly when hes outside and waiting for you.
5. Get in, Enjoy the journey and Rate the Driver at the end.
